Life Updates:

Hey Friends 👋

If you haven't seen my stories, on January 2nd I got a concussion. I wish I could say something cool happened but it didn't. A bottle of cleaning solution (about six pounds) fell on my head.

I'm at the two week mark and feel better. Still limiting my screen time and trying to rest. My neurologist (yes, i now have a neurologist for the past year from migraines) said I am good to drive and go back to "day to day activities.

However, I'm suffering from something that's essentially "post concussion headaches". They feel like a dull headache or tightness around my head. They happen randomly throughout the day or very dull all day long. Tylenol helps. I apparently could be like this for up to 8 more weeks. But, i'm highly encouraged to start doing day to day life stuff with a lot of breaks & rest.

Reminder that I'm available for work in Philadelphia and NYC. (Just give me some grace please) I will take longer than normal to respond to emails -- sometimes.

Also, thanks to my partner, friends and family. I've really been spoiled with love and flowers the last two weeks. Don't stop 😉

2024 did me dirty.

Last month I made goals that were just an overall for the next few months. I want to be very specific this month and please feel free to share your monthly goals. 🧡

01. I want two new production makeup gigs this month
02. Pay a good chunk on my credit card
03. bring on 5 new @mangomarketing.co clients
04. get over this cold that won't leave my body 🥺
05. be able to start working out consistently again
06. increase my savings account transfer $$ by december
07. sell out our @mangomembers event at @sundaygirl_philly (which is open to the public fyi)
08. laugh so much i'm in tears with friends
09. get to spend some much needed time with my mom & take her to new york.
10. be kinder to myself
11. learn a new spanish & arabic word every day
